Two North East businesses have partnered up to help companies reduce energy bills and boost their environmental credentials.

Green Global Energy has partnered with Castle Green Services, with the two businesses working together to provide a comprehensive service to customers.

It will enable clients to not only access the best energy tariffs for their business via Green Global, but also allow them to access Castle Green’s experts, who will carry out comprehensive energy surveys on their properties and recommend low carbon solutions, i.e. photovoltaic, heat pumps or energy efficient LED lighting, that will assist in reducing energy consumption.

Austin Robson, Green Global Energy’s Head of Partner Channels, said: “Green Global is a young business, but we are ambitious and want to make sure that when a customer comes to us for support, we can cover all of their needs.

“This partnership with Castle Green Services is incredibly exciting, as it allows us to not only ensure that customers can potentially save thousands of pounds by changing to a more appropriate energy tariff, but it also means Castle Green can help them ensure that whatever they do spend on energy is maximised rather than wasted.”

Based in the Team Valley, Green Global Energy launched eight months ago and has spent that time forging a reputation for taking the hassle out of switching energy provider. Starting with just five employees in June 2020, the firm had doubled its workforce by November and intends to double again in the coming months, as growth continues.

The business offers a range of energy saving solutions and services, standing out in a crowded marketplace with its personalised bespoke customer service.

Established in 2014, Castle Green Services (Castle Green) is a subsidiary of Castle Building Services. Castle Green form one of the UK’s leading, privately-owned, specialist providers of integrated green building solutions. It also offers a full range of support services, including design and installation of low energy solutions for mechanical and electrical services along ongoing maintenance in many other regulatory services.

Richard Flynn, Operations Manager for Castle Green Services, said: “As a full-service consultancy and delivery team, we develop and implement bespoke proposals that will reduce our client’s energy usage and in turn their utility costs.

“Along with our practical approach, we offer advice for clients who wish to improve their green credentials and aims for net zero carbon ambitions.

“Our partnership with Green Global will allow us to further reduce client costs by improving their current energy tariffs. This exciting partnership will ensure our clients regulatory energy targets and overall building performance are achieved by combining these two main contributing factors.”
